Sthenmir is a coaching app: coaches build training programs, and their clients follow them and log their workouts. It is run by Dave Jean (“we”). This page explains what personal information Sthenmir holds, why, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Your account: your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture from Google, never your Google password.
- Your training profile: goals, training days, available equipment, age, sex, height, bodyweight, and injuries or limitations your coach records.
- Your intake questionnaire, if your coach asks you to fill it in: training history, daily schedule and work, and health information such as diagnosed conditions, medications, injuries and treatments, food allergies and sensitivities, and supplements you take.
- Body-composition check-ins: bodyweight and skinfold measurements taken by your coach.
- Your training: your programs, the weights and reps you log, workout start and end times, personal records, and notes you add to exercises. Meal plans and supplement plans your coach builds for you.
- Notifications: if a coach turns on phone notifications, the browser gives us a technical address to deliver them to that device.
We don't sell your information, show ads, or use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in and remember your language.
Why we use it
- To let your coach build, adjust and follow your training, nutrition and supplement plans.
- To show you today's workout, keep your history and personal records, and time your rest periods.
- To send you sign-in links and invitations, and to tell your coach when you finish a training day or a cycle.
- So your coach's health and safety choices (exercise selection, load, recovery) fit your situation.
Who can see it
Your coach, and the head coach of your gym, can see your information. Other clients can't. We share it only with the service providers that run the app for us, and only for that purpose:
- Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in.
- Vercel hosts the app and the website.
- Google provides “Continue with Google” and sends our emails (Gmail).
- Anthropic provides the AI behind Björn. When a coach asks Björn to draft a program or a plan, the relevant parts of your profile and intake (for example goals, equipment, injuries and health conditions) are sent to Anthropic to produce the draft. Your coach reviews every draft.
- Your browser's notification service (Google, Apple or Mozilla) delivers phone notifications.
These providers store and process information outside Québec and Canada, mainly in the United States, where it is subject to local laws. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you train with a coach on Sthenmir. When you stop, or when you ask us, we delete it or make it anonymous, except what the law requires us to keep.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to get a copy, or to have it deleted. You can also withdraw your consent, which ends your use of the app. Write to us at privacy@sthenmir.app; we answer within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
Information travels encrypted, access is limited by account so each person sees only what they should, and sign-in uses Google or a one-time email link, so there's no password of ours to steal. No system is perfectly secure: if a breach puts your information at risk, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Person in charge of privacy

Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app if the change matters.
